Detecting quantum resources in mixed states

Detecting quantum resources, especially in mixed quantum states, is a highly challenging task. Starting from the widely-used concept of resource witnesses, we propose a framework that systematically generate  analytical and experimentally accessible criteria based on a single witness and a group of free unitaries.

Our construction applies to any convex resource theory with a compact subgroup of free unitaries, including coherence, entanglement, magic and fermionic non-Gaussianity. Within the framework, we some recovoer well-known resource-detection quantities and generate genuinely new criteria for mixed-state magic and fermionic non-Gaussianity.

个人简介:

Yifan Tang is a second-year PhD student at Freie Universität Berlin, supervised by Prof. Jens Eisert. He received a Master's degree in Mathematics at Freie Universität Berlin and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Tsinghua University. His research focuses on quantum learning theory and quantum resource theory.
