IDEAL is a research group under the Institute for Interdisciplinary Information Sciences (IIIS) at Tsinghua University, supervised by Professor Gao Mingyu. The team focuses on the research of computer system architecture, with particular attention to new storage architectures, specialized computing systems, hardware system security, etc., for data-intensive applications such as artificial intelligence and big data analysis, so as to explore the design, collaboration and optimization of the new generation of computer hardware architectures and software systems.
